01 · The Challenge

A curated collection. Sold by the piece, by the yard, paid at the door.

NeeProkriti sells imported, handpicked pieces: brass rings and ear cuffs, gemstone earrings, hemp bags, wooden bangles, and sarees and fabric sold by length. With about two hundred products across some sixty-five categories, a flat product wall would bury the very selection that is the brand.

Most shop software also assumes every item is counted in whole pieces, while fabric is cut by the yard. And in Bangladesh most orders are paid in cash at the door. An order only makes money if the courier can find the address and the buyer accepts the parcel.

02 · The Solution

Browse by mood. Deliver to the right door.

We built the store on WeezShop, our commerce platform for Bangladeshi businesses, and designed its storefront theme, verve: a warm cream base, ink-navy and coral, and rounded image-led cards that keep the focus on photographs of brass on stone, linen and velvet.

Two-level categories, live search, quick view and wishlists make a large catalogue easy to browse. A platform extension lets fabric sell by the yard. Checkout uses the courier's own city, zone and area lists, guests can order without an account, and each order shows the buyer's delivery history before it ships with Pathao or Steadfast.

The storefront

Two hundred pieces. Still easy to browse.

  • NeeProkriti earring category page: a sidebar of nested categories beside a grid of brass and gemstone earrings, each with price and stock status.
    Earring categoryCategory grid
  • NeeProkriti product page for a pair of bicycle-shaped brass earrings at 260 taka, with an Only a few left badge, quantity stepper and Add to cart button.
    Product pageStock-aware detail

Category pages pair a two-level tree with an image-led grid. Every card shows the sub-category, the price in taka and stock, and product pages keep the decision to photo, price, stock and one coral button.

What we built

Store highlights. Four decisions shaped around how NeeProkriti sells.

  • A catalogue you can browse by mood

Earrings open into Imported Brass, Silver, Boho, Dual Tone and Natural Gemstone. Bags open into Mini Pouch, Purse, Backpack and Cross Body. A "Find your lane" strip on the homepage, a category sidebar, live search as you type, and quick view over the grid let shoppers compare pieces without losing their place.

  • Fabric sold by the yard

Products can be measured instead of counted: yards, in half-yard steps, with a minimum cut. Stock is stored as an exact decimal, so it never drifts from what is on the shelf, and pieces sold by count work exactly as before.

  • Addresses couriers can deliver to

Checkout narrows the address from city to zone to area using the courier's own location list, and the server checks it again. Guests can order without an account, and anyone can track an order by number and phone.

  • Cash on delivery, with less guesswork

Each order shows how many parcels the buyer's phone number has accepted or refused with couriers, so the team can call before shipping, then book Pathao or Steadfast from the same screen. Totals, discounts and stock are recalculated on the server inside one locked transaction, so the last piece can't be sold twice.

Impact

What it delivers. A curated shop, ready for every district.

In their words
We were paying for three different plugins just to get checkout and courier booking to talk to each other, and two of them broke after an update. WeezShop handles all of it out of the box — Pathao, bKash, inventory, everything. Our team spends time on orders now, not on fixing the store.
